Personality: A perceptively calm, easy to get along with and very kind to everyone even to his enemy. Hakkai’s main duty other than helping Sanzo fight the demons(as I observed)is like being a big brother who takes care of the members of the gang. He is always very caring and always has a warm smile on his face. Although the other 3 have problems with his unpredictable nature whether he is joking or serious on occasion, they all know there’s a dark and menacing side of him that springs out from his haunting memory from time to time as well. His right eye almost can't see anything, resulted from one severe fight in the past. In fighting Hakkai usually uses Kikou arts or mind power, and smile is a weapon. He is the owner of the little dragon "Jeep"/"Hakuryu" that can transform itself into the vehicle. The cuff he wears on his left ear is for controling his spirit power and maintaining his human appearance.:p

Cho Hakkai
A rather perplexing young man. Hakkai is usually quite pleasant and polite and is known for his smile, but he can be so off-putting it's hard to tell when he's serious ... there's a chance he's the straight man, but that's up to debate. His occasionally sharp gaze -- in contrast to his warm expressions -- is symbolic of his dark, closed past. As Jeep belongs to him, he often drives when the group is riding. He uses chi (or life spirit) manipulation as his weapon in battle. He, like Gojyo, is 22 years old, but stands at a slightly shorter 181 cm tall (approx. 5'11"). His eyes are deep green and his right is nearly blind. The cuffs he wears on his left ear are Yokai power limiters, but they can also be appreciated as an ancient Chinese fashion statement.

Cho Hakkai, is also known as Cho Gonou. He was asked by the gods of sanzo to leave the name Gonou and start a new life as Cho Hakkai. Because he committed a mass murder. He killed 1000 demons just to get his wife, Kanna, back from the demons that took her away from their home. He actually succeeded in getting her back. But, unfortunately Kanna killed herself in front of Hakkai(Gonou). She killed herself because she's carrying the child of the demon that raped her. Now he accompanies Sanzo, Goku, and Gojyo for their journey to the west.
Hakkai's god name, 500 years ago was Tenpo Gensui.

Cho hakkai is my favorite character...
Cho is a very strong man w/ a very strong personality... he can fight even if he's wounded because of his fighting spirit...
He have this very very cute pet! wait wait! a cute fighting pet!! his eyes are green and he has this... very strong power!

Cho Hakkai is very cheerful. Usually. He never shows his concern only for his friends. He killed the thousand eyes clan. Killing i think it was 10,000 people of that clan. He made a friend , Gojyou. He was then arrested by Sanzo. He was later released. He has emerald green eyes and dark brown hair. He can out drink anyone and his weapon is..... this kinda martial arts where they use their chi(a.k.a. power from their body). He loves children and is very soft on Goku. He has power restrainers on his ear. The 3 piercings he has. He never really brings up his past. He also breaks up fights between the other three members of the group.

Cho Hakkai is a human that became a demon because he killed 100 demons for they use his wife and in the end Cho Hakkai's wife killed herself for she had a demon child. He then tries to forget about his wife and try to be nice to everyone that he knows and his the most calm person in the party.He always smile and never let anyone know about his past. He loves to drink sake but never get drunk. Cho Hakkai was chosen to accompany Sanzo in the quest for the scroll.
