Wolfwood is a paradox. He is at once a very caring soul...a priest who cannot stand to see children suffer or the innocent fall...and a killer, trained for a decade as a lethal assasin by a mentor priest. Using a massive cross which doubles as a machine gun, pistol rack and rocket launcher, Wolfwood defends those who are in need and becomes a great friend of Vash's. His primary challenge is to come to grips with Vash's non-lethal philosophies.

Nicolas D. Wolfwood a sort of fallen preacher. Walks the path of death and destruction while almost as dorky and carefree as vash. The five foot cross he carries is actually a powerful concealed machine gun/rocket launcher. Wolfwood will join Vash on his crusade against the Gung-Ho Guns.
