Sei

Sei is the leader of a group working for Barren's syndicate. She acts as the commander for the group she created in order to capture and investigate the "shining" brains. (I'd love to give you a name of the group, but one is never really mentioned in the anime.) Sei's grandfather is the current leader of Barren. She often finds herself taking actions that are better for the sydicate than for her own personal beliefs because of this even though her grandfather has said she should live life the way she wants too.
