The movie takes place 2 years since the brothers separation. Al is still in the other side of the gate, while Ed is in our world at Germany. Eventually, the movie dosen't completly make sense because, SPOILERS: The people that were dead in the anime is back to life... Still, the movie is still good. I'll give it a four star.
