Shirou

Shirou is half Chinese and half Japanese so he's kind of like an outcast. He went off by himself to become a Super Chef but didn't win. So he sewed himself a fake Super Chef badge and went off claiming to be a Super Chef. When a snobby lord commands Shirou to cook him something he fails in satisfying the lord. The consequences in displeasing the lord, execution. Luckily Mao saves him by cooking a special kind of fried rice. Since then he's been tagging along with Mao and is Mao's apprentice.
