A member of the Hellsing Organization, retired, Walter now serves Sir Integra as her butler. He is fanatically loyal to Integra, which is useful as he was known in his younger days as the 'Angel of Death.' Though his skills have dulled somewhat with age, he can still hold his own in a fight. Moreover, he takes Victoria under his wing after her conversion. Still, even his powerful mind is not always invulnerable to magic.

Mere the butler of House Hellsing, Walter C Dolnes possesses more nobility than every other character in the series. He is always calm, polite and ready to give his life when the situation demands it. He serves Lady Integra with admirable devotion and masters lots of skills one wouldn't expect from an old man like him. His background is unclear but it's known that in his youth Walter was known as "Angel of Death" due to his unique and very unusual combat technique...
Personally he is my favourite character in the whole series.

Walter basically Sir Hellsing's butler and protector . A powerful man who dedicated his part of life to protecting Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing. When needed he sure knows how to make the enemies dance!
