Due to the Major's concern over the rapid intellectual growth of the Tacikomas she ordered they be sent back to the Lab, in which they were all decomissioned.All but three were completely demantled in the Lab. But three remained active in the final episode of the first season in which they had all been recommision to do other non-polic work. They were also destroyed in the final episode of the first seaon during a battle that saved the majors life

Tachikoma is a robot model used in Section 9 for all types of missions. They are similar to Spiders and have a very modern AI that lets them think by themselves, they are equiped by all sorts of gadgets, including weapons, optical camo or "spider silk", there are eight of them at public peace section 9.
