Personality: In most instances, Shido can more accurately be compared to one of his animal friends than one of the humans he outwardly resembles. He isn't fond of crowds of people or loud noises, keeps to himself and tends to be touchy, and prefers the company of animals to humans. Although overall he is good-natured, he is also somewhat dark and extremely vicious to his enemies.
Status: One of the former Four Kings of the VOLTS, currently working as a retrieval agent; works independently. He lives on the Otowa estate with Madoka, as she has put him up there -- he took on a job as a retrieval agent solely to pay her rent, not wanting to be leeching off the girl he loves. He is still on good terms with Kazuki and Ginji, as well as Emishi in Mugenjou, although he appears to have a brotherly rivalry going on with Ban. Shido can speak to animals, and considers his friends, but he can also command them to obey him, and frequently uses them to spy or help him with difficult tasks as well as attack his enemies. The technique of his tribe is an animal imitation, called "Hyakujuu Gitai" -- literally, "mimicry of all different kinds of animals". Each different technique mimics a different animal.

Shido Fuyuki is called beastmaster because he can talk to animals and summon thier spirits. He and Ban didn't get along very well until he met Otowa Midoka. Now they get along better but they still fight. Called saroumawashi(aka monkey trainer)by Ban becuz of his ability to talk to animals. He was also a top member of the Volts gang. He has lots of people to give information.
