Momoi Ibuki

Momoi Ibuki, Dai-Guard pilot number two. All her life, her very identity was tied up in wanting to avenge the death of her father, who was killed by a Heterodyne while proving his scientific theories about them were correct. Ibuki became a Dai-Guard pilot for that purpose. But after finding out the less than heroic truth about her father, she finds herself without an anchor...without a purpose. Amazingly, her stepfather, a doctor, with whom she shares a strained relationship, helps her not only to understand him, finally, but to understand herself, and Ibuki emerges with a more balanced perspective, a renewed sense of self, and a desire to save the world -- for the right reasons this time!
