Agent Shirota Shiro is Dai-Guard's army tactical advisor. At the beginning, Shirota was very much a by-the-book military man, making things quite difficult for Dai-Guard's civilian team to get out there and do their job. However, he learned by experience that sometimes you need to break the rules in order to do what's right. Obviously, Akagi and his impetuous attitude rubbed Shirota the wrong way to start with, but by the mid-point of the series, Shirota evolves into one of Akagi's [and Dai-Guard's] most ardent disciples!
