Kai Hiwatari is a mysterious misunderstood loner, His bit beast is Dranzer Fire Phoenix of the south. Kai can covey his emotions with only a look and with his physical persence, everyone respects him. He is a top-level competitor when it comes to beyblading. Unlike Tyson, Kai would rather be in the shadows than the spotlight. Even though he might not admit it Tyson is Kai's best friend and worst enemy. Kai's dream is become the worlds best beyblader but in order for kai to do that he has to beat tyson......anyway deep down Kai is a nice person ^_^

Kai is the silent hero. He does'nt care if Tyson hates his guts, he will presavere. Now given now that the blade breakers are no more, Defeating Tyson is a priorty. Until, BEGA comes in and kicks Kai butt that he has lost it, until he beats down begas BEGA's Team Captain is his faith restored.

Hiwatari Kai is a very misunderstood chara.Fangirls love him,b/c he seems like *the bad guy*,and Takao fans hate him,b/c he sometimes steals the spotlight off thier precious Takao.And,only people have been a loner most thier lives can truly relate to him in a major way.
Kai is a great friend to Takao,and has oft helped him out by telling him stategies during battles,but he often sits on the sidelines just watching the others battle,quiet and alone,the loner of the show.
Just as any other loner,Kai wants to be well-known and popular.Such a chance is presented to him in an evil Beyblade known as Black Dranzer.Black Dranzer is actually created to help the villian take over control of all the major bit-beasts in the world.Kai is,however,convinced that it will help him gain power and popularity,so he uses Black Dranzer to steal the bit-beast from all his fellow Beybladers' blades in one-sided battles.However,in the end,his friends from The Bladebreakers do convince him to take it back to villian and tell him where his loyalties really lie....which is in his friends.
Kai's Beyblade is Dranzer,a red phoenix,and it uses fire-type attacks.

Kai is the brooding loner... he's really quiet and mysterious. Kai is the leader of the Bey Sharks then the captain of the Blade Breakers, former captain of the Demolition Boys. He has a evil grandfather who plans on taking over the world. So anyways, Kai is very independant and wasn't very happy to join the Blade Breakers. Kai has a very dark past because he was 'molded' to become the perfect blader. His bit beast is Dranzer.
