Kumi's father passed away when she was 3. Ever since then, she had to be dependable on herself, since her mother was busy with her job as a writer. She was forced to grow up fast and mature, which explains her serious attitude.
She becomes sick of always being the responsible, but that's what she does best, she's responsible and helps others, though at times, she does appeared annoyed of Yuri.
