Mrs. Takamine is Kiyo's mother and really worries about him. She is troubled about his attitude and behavior, and how he isolates himself from everybody. They often argue about him becoming more social and making friends, but with Kiyo's attitude, it didn't seem like it would be happening any time soon, until....
