Makunouchi Ippo

Makunouchi Ippo is the main character of this anime. He is a quick learner when it comes to boxing. His reason to box is to find the meaning of being strong. He is a bullied kid who turns to boxing to discover this feeling. Though quite adept at boxing, when it comes to anything social, he is quite awkward.
