Tamahome lived with his family in Kohnan. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters and also his father. His mother had died we when his youngest sister was born. He was then responsible for his family. As he got older he found out he had great powers but didn't know what it was for.
When he meets Miaka his world begins to change. It takes Tamahome a while to realize what she means to him. When Miaka tells him that she loves him, he doesn't know how to react but only by saying "I'm sorry, i don't feel that way." He soon realizes that he is in love with her and they become a great couple throughout the Anime and Manga. Though they are separated a lot throughout the story, their love remains strong. To find out what happens in the end you'll just have to watch the Anime along with the OVAs! Enjoy cuz i sure loved it!
