Can you say, "Multiple Personality"?
If so, then you've defined Kuwamara Takashi of Seigaku's tennis team. A 3rd year senior and regular at Seigaku, Takashi is a sweet, gentle guy who carries a boyish charm.
That is, when he's NOT holding a tennis raquet.
Once he does, his OTHER personality takes over. His very, VERY eccentric personality aka BURNING mode.
His BURNING mode is almost the complete opposite of Takashi. This tennis guy is egocentric, loud, and VERRRY intimidating.
However, what makes Takashi good isn't his confident other half, it's his strength. Takashi is THE powerhouse of Seigaku, being the strongest member of the team. His shots are so heavy and powerful it even forces the rackets of of his opponents' hands.
Takashi is also known for variating the Hadoukyuu. This move was originally created by the powerful Tetsu Ishida of Fudomine. However, Takashi was able to use the move and variate it in many ways, from a two-handed Hadoukyuu to the most powerful Hadoukyuu known, the Dash Hadoukyuu. This move is so powerful that Takashi can only use it once a match, more apparently, once a day, or it will surely break his wrist.
Takashi's attitude towards tennis is not very positive. He is more worried about his father and the sushi shop that his otousan runs, since he strives to someday to become a sushi chef and take over his father's business. However, his dedication to his tennis team is immense, and his pride for every member of Seigaku's tennis team, reuglar or not, is the best. A sweet hearted kid, people center around him a lot.
That is, his lighter half.
He is also considered the closest friend fo Akatsu Jin, second only to Taichi Dan, who admires Jin. Akutsu Jin is the second powerful rival of Echizen Ryoma, and is also EASILY angered, and has the strength, speed and stamina inside AND outside of the ring to back it up. His relationship with Takashi is rocky, but they still consider themselves friends.
A very modest person, Takashi is the type of person you wouldn't think could handle the sport of tennis, but his "other half" seems to have others think twice. The power in his arms are superb, but only second to the power that he holds deep in his heart.
Takashi:" Oh! I forgot to get my Raquet!"
BURNING Mode:" ORA ORA!!!! BUUUURRRRRNING!"

Takashi is very odd is all I could say. When he's not holding a Tennis racket he seems so nice, innocent and generous, but when he does hold a tennis racket, he gets all firey, as in he has all the confident he needs and not afraid of anything or becomes stronger. His father owns a Sushi shop (,I think). Takashi said that one day he's going to stop playing tennis and help his father with the store. He's also good at making them.
Takashi is a Regular.
