Momshiro Takeshi is a 2nd Year student at Seigaku and is a starter of the Seigaku Boy's Tennis Team. Known to be quite an easygoing guy, Momoshiro's playing style weighs heavily on one attribute: his strength. A powerhouse on the team, his strength is only second to that of the third year Seigaku regular, Kuwamura Takashi. Momoshiro is well known for his Dunk Smash, which knocked out a guy when he faced St. Rudolph. His other best move is the Jack Knife, which uses the entire rotation of his body, with his right foot as the axis of the rotation, to create a fast, powerful, and sometime unreturnable two-handed backhand, which he first used on the All-Junior Sengoku of Yamabuki.
Momoshiro is also the acclaimed rival of Kaido Kaoru. Since thier time as first years, they have always competed against each other in every way and have verbally fought many times. However, throughout the past season, they have shown a great respect for each other, and whether they accept it or deny it, they see each other more as just teammates or even doubles partners; they see each other as friends.
Momoshiro, or rather Momo-chan, as he prefers, is the second player to face Echizen and the first regular to play against him... with a sprained ankle. However, Echizen saw the weakness, and played equally fair by using his "weak" hand.
An energetic and charismatic young man, his light mood has caught the attention of all the seigaku members and many others as well, including the likes of Akira Kamio and Tachibana Ann of Fudomine. But aside from his light heart, his strength and play tactics are far from light. He may as well be the best candidate for Captain in the next season, since he'll be a third year.

Momoshiro Takeshi is a second year member of the Seigaku's tennis club. He is know as the Powerhouse of the team because of his ability to hit strong and powerful shots. His Signature shot is called the DUNK SMASH. He is also rivals with Kaidoh who is know as SNAKE. Momoshiro hangs around the freshman players such as Ryoma and at one point played doubles with Ryoma. He also likes to be called Momo-Chan.
