Chelsea has a secret identity also and has a mission as well. Chelsea is a Magical girl and when she transforms she is Princess Forute of the Magic Planet and has magical powers.
According to Anime tradition Magical Girls must have a magical pet. However Chelsea's Magical Pet, Daisy, did not take to Chelsea and is as much an antagonist at times as Guardian Hearts is.
Chelsea also has a crush on Kazuya but finds Guardian Hearts constantly interfering with her attempts to get close to Kazuya, therefore she has taken a vow that Guardian Hearts is her enemy. Chelsea is also in competition with Hina, Maya, and Kurusu for Kazuya's attentions.
Chelsea is a bit spoiled, pampered and selfish at times but she does have a good heart. At times its hard not to feel sorry for her.
