Yes he may be a member of the Seiryuu seven, but he thought that if he "died" they wouldn't be able to summon Seiryuu, so he "killed" himself only to be discovered by a family that lost a son that looked just like him named Kika. Miaka finds him and big surprise he wants to help her because like most of the Suzaku seven he's in love with her, but wants her to be happy and tells her that she and Tamahome belong together.

Amiboshi is the older twin brother of Suboshi. Both are Seiryuu Seishi. Amiboshi is the one who wish he was a Saukza warrior. Watch out, because he can alter your spirit with his flute.
