She may be a writer, but she has the worst case of writers block EVER. She hasn't wrote/published a book in 4 years because Her best friend Yomiko Readman (yet ANOTHER bibliophile) has gone missing. Nenene leaves from time to time when she finds a lead on her missing friend. Nenene and the paper sisiters actually FIND Yomiko in episode 16. There are twenty-eight episodes total.

Nenene was originally from The Read or Die Manga. In it she was a high school author who Yomiko adored. Luckily for Yomiko, Nene was a student at the school Yomiko subbed at, and the two became friends. Yet it has been six years since Nenene last saw her Sensei, and she hasn't been able to write since their last meeting. Nenene will stop at nothing to find her missing friend, and along the way she picks up the Three sisters.
