Poor Kazuki is less-than-average of when it comes to being a magican because while other magicans can use their magic over a million times, he can only use his magic eight times and then he'll die. Because of this, Kazuki is almost-always depressed and looks down on himself when he is always surrounded by his friends Kamaru and Madsuba. He was so depressed, he left his school during lucnh and found his dorm room had a girl in it saying she was intending to be his wife. Things seemed to become very awkward for him as Kuriko, then Rin who wanted to kill him, showed up.
The mysterious male nurse then cleared things up-Kazuki is the descendant of every powerful magican on earth which has crammed itself into his...wing-dang-doodle, so to say. Even if HE isn't that great, his children will be.
Because of this, every girl in his homeroom, including Madsuba the strict girl and Raika, the head reporter for the school newspaper, want to get both his genes, if you can follow that.
Kazuki, however, does seem to have some impressive magic in him that can destroy monsters and merge buildings together.
These days, he seems to gain more confident in himself.

Shikimori Kazuki, 17 years old and a student at the elite magic academy "Aoi Gakun". A less than average 'leftovers' kind of guy who is such a loser that the girls don't even notice him enough to dislike him.
The reason he is looked down upon is because he can only use magic 8 times in his life before turning to dust, and since all social standing in the world is measured by the number of times a person can use magic, Shikimori's standing is considered pathetic at best.
What sets the hero apart however is his heart of gold. That and his genetic heritage which combines the abilities of some of the greatest magicians the world has ver known. Even though he can only use magic a limited number of times, his kind of magic is 'special' and extremely powerfull. That, and he has not yet fully 'awakend' yet....
