Rin is younger than Kazuki, but was literally ordered by her family to be the one to get his genes. She resnts this reality and would rather kill the poor boy, if he didn't exist, she'd have no problems. This young swordswoman is aloof and menacing half the time and it's really a wonder why she hangs out with him most the time when he goes on his misadventures. Whenever she gets mad enough to attempt and carry out her threat to end him, Rin doesn't really care who gets in the way of her attack. It's really quite sad, having to be so mature in future and yet be so young in reality.

A daughter of the Kamishiro branch family, Rin is a 1st year student at the academy and is a member of the biology club. She is initially an aloof girl that likes to wave her sword around menacingly. However, as she gets closer to Kazuki, a softer and more fun-loving side of Rin emerges.
