He says he is Kazuki's best friend, but you have to wonder since he formed a "trial" for the poor boy after the secret of why Rin, Kuriko--who he had been trying to blackmail earlier--and Yuna were all clinging to him and ran verdict without listening to him. Nakamaru sees his perversions as goals and often lectures Kazuki that someone like him who never takes a chance won't get far. His "nemesis" seems to be Matsuba who seems to be his "perfect match". Nakamaru has a crush on Yuna and leads a dumpy boy, a glass-earing boy with pimples, and a quiet one who likes to read about drugs in his vendetas against Kazuki. His speciality is energy attacks.
His rival is Matsuba and her team of girls which includes Raika, the head of the school newspaper, and another girl whose name we don't learn. They, of course, want to have Kazuki's genes. Matsuba can levitate and send powerful energy attacks and Raika is literally "armed" with a transforming camera. Don't know what the third girl's speciality is yet.

A mischievous and somewhat perverted youth, Nakamaru is a 2nd year and is in the same class as Kazuki. He is more or less Kazuki's friend at school, but he often pokes fun at the fact that Kazuki has only a small number of times for magic use. He idolizes Kazetsubaki Kuriko and Kamishiro Rin and is both angered and frustrated at the fact that they always hang around Kazuki.
