Mami poses as Wataru's thirteenth sister but is in reality a spy determined to seperate him and the other twelve. She spends most of her time spying on Wataru with Yamamda's "help"--she seems to be the only girl wise to the fact that Yamada is a "Baby pervert" and punishes him for it. Mami has a sarcastic tone in her voice so you can never tell if she's being serious in what she's saying, and it's a little rough, too.
Like all the girls she has a nickname for Wataru, "Bud"(Wataru and Yamada are the only ones who know she's not really a sister). Mami also seems to be taking orders from her brother who interested in the daily lives of Wataru and his sisters, though soon comes to think of Wataru as a brother, a much better one.
One of her e-mails refering to Wataru asked "What are your true feelings?"(since they're not brother and sister, it wouldn't be awkward for her to have gained a crush on him like Karen, Sakuya, Chikage, and Haruka did).
Her Palmpilot goes "Moooo" whenever she gets an e-mail and refers to Yamada as a weirdo.
SOmetime later when she has a new look, Yamada can't tell it's her and instantly falls in love with his old spying buddy.
