Rena Lanford is a cheery 17-year old girl who lives with her mother in the town of Arlia. From the outside, she looks like a quiet and sweet girl, but she's got her strong-willed side to her too.
She has a spirit that doesn't yield to anyone, except for the man that she fell in love with, Claude Kenni.
She also has a tendency to get jealous when other girls flirt with Claude.
Rena was trained in a special form of ju-jitsu, and only uses it when she absolutely must. She also has special healing powers that nobody around her has.
Her healing powers were the reason that she left on the journey with Claude. She wanted to find out how and why she has her powers, and the fate of her birth mother.
