Mai is the female protagonist with orange hair. Her child is named Kagutschi, a large dragon like creature with a sword in the middle of its head. It can also transform and fly into outer space. Mai's weapon are rings around her wrists and ankles. She can use them to fly, shoot fire and guard her self. Mai has a younger brother named Takumi who has a heart condition and must take pills regularly. Mai finds herself in a love triangle with Tate and Reito. Mai loves to cook, sing and takes on many jobs. She gets into a lot of trouble upon meeting Mikoto((the girl with the overbearing sword)) and Natsuki((the gunslinger))
