Aeka is the second-oldest princess of the Planet Jurai and is always prim and proper unless she is around her "Archenemy" Ryoko and really detests her for her equal attraction to Tenchi. When she was younger she was engaged to her half-brother Yosho until a possessed Ryoko attacked and half-destroyed the palace, causing him to chase after the criminal with his sword "Tenchi", which seemed to be the only weapon that could stand up to Ryoko's frigthening powers. After several earth years (the last place where Yosho and Ryoko were seen) with her little sister Sasami and unknowingly captured Tenchi along with a revived Ryoko. She demanded to know where her brother was and was told that Tenchi (the boy, not the sword) would probably know and discovered that Yosho apparently died a long time ago. In the midst of this shock, Aeka did not realize that Ryoko had not and could not disconnect her own ship Ryo-ohki from the ship with the same name as her brother and both crashed on earth where she had found them. With her ship completely destroyed, her brother pressumed dead, and having to live in a house with a space pirate Aeka spent much of her time wallowing in self-pity until Tenchi showed her kindness and began to fall in love with him and gave him to sword, much to Ryoko's confusion. Her utter disdain for Ryoko continued when, while at an inn owned by his grandmother, Ryoko exposed her bathingsuit to Tenchi while he was around and caused him to have a nosebleed, then slapped her when Ryoko pointed out that she has "so little to offer. I can understand why you'd wanna cover it up." It has pretty much been a literal all-out war between her and Ryoko ever since when it comes to being Tenchi's girlfriend.
There is only one Jurain she truly fears is Seto the Demon Princess and wife of Yosho as this is mainly because Seto is perhaps the only Jurain who enjoys killing and not even her father Azusa has any authority over her actions.

Ayeka is prim, proper, and demure, the perfect model of a Jurai crown Princess. Except when Ryoko's around. Ayeka's attraction to Tenchi stems from her admiration of his quiet inner strength, and his eligibility: the young man has Jurai Royal blood, after all. Ayeka was once engaged to her half brother, Yosho, Tenchi's grandfather. This ironically makes Ayeka, Tenchi's great aunt. Ayeka's happy on Earth away from her Royal duties and would be suitor which are a constant burden. Someday she plans to marry Tenchi and live in Royal splendor on Jurai...if only that space pirate would just go away. Ayeka's father, Azusa is the King of Jurai. Her mother, the Queen of Jurai, is Misaki.

ayeka as spellt in english can be snoty and self absourbed and vain (its ahrd to write bad thngs about one of my favorite characters) bt she has more good qualtes she is hard working doesn't grope tenchi kind loving sister refined gentle
