Mioshi is the granddaughter of an important offical of the Galaxy Police, which is pretty much the only reason she got the job because she can be very unlucky when it comes to...pretty much every competent act you could act and it is likely that her superior was overjoyed that she had apparently gone missing. Mioshi is cheerful and carefree when it comes to regular life and has been refered to as "bubblehead" by Washu for playing with something she wasn't supposed to--which exploded right in her face after Washu said this.She is also a little slow-witted because when Washu explained to way Kagato's shiped work and Mioshi finally and tearfully understood, she was asked, "where were you when they were handing out the brains?" She first appeared when she was tracking the space pirate ship Ryo-ohki to earth and inadverantly destroyed the water-monster Ryoko had created but was not able to control due to the fact that her only power to create monsters. When she found she was among "civilians" she got a reading that Ryo-ohi was nearby (Ryo-ohi by this time had been reborn as a cabbit) and was fairly surprised when the little cute nibbled her pistol;
"Please don't eat my gun",
and fainted again. She was not totally considered rival for Tenchi's affections until his grandfather suggested the idea and became very giddy while her superior was trying to convince her to come back and began blushing and bouncing around her cockpit while she was remembering that Tenchi had told her to come back to earth anytime she wanted, which might have caused her to start having feelings for him, but is not explored much after that.
Somehow she is able to change costumes; from an offical Galaxy Police uniform to a bunny suit which is not really explained how it happens.
Somehow her brother Misao is very intelligent and respected while she is semi the butt of everyones' jokes.

She is the grand daughter of the Marshall of the Galaxy Police.
She is the most clumsy person you can ever find in the galaxy. She lacks common sense. However by the pure luck she always manages to catch the bad guy.
Mihoshi is a danger to herself and everyone around her.
