Asakura is a member of the Photo Club in Mahora Academy and is rarely seen without her camera. She has violent red hair and seems to just wear the under-portion of the school uniform. It's unknown whether or not she has an interest in Negi like most of the class.
In the manga;
She is rarely seen without her camera or looking for a good story by any means nessicary. When she gets the word that Nodoka confessed her love to him, Asakura impersonates Shizuna to get word if he can do magic out of him, but is found out. Not to say she hasn't served some sort of purpose as she conspired with Kamo to get several of the girls to kiss Negi in order to get more Pactio cards and increase his power. This Asakura placed beats with students (it's unknown if they were or weren't of 2-A) on each team and tried to escape when things sort of went wrong.
In the anime;
Asakura didn't have much of a role other than that of being a background character and divulged which student of 2-A had the largest bust. Although her involvement in the Photo Club is mentioned, she rarely has it with her constantly unlike her manga-self. The only time she uses it is in the episode debuting Sayo in her quest to find out why a deceased student was still registered as active. She is also sympathetic and won't take Sayo's picture of her when the ghost appears to her weeping. Although, like her manga-self, Asakura isn't above setting Negi up for a kiss contest or blackmailing Chisame with a photo of her as Chui.

Asakura is possibly based off Kitsune from Love Hina; she's a little flirty, easy-going, will do whatever it takes to amuse herself--and feel bad about it later--and often plotting on how to improve her life. She is head of the News Club at her school and is often armed with a camera. She seems to be good pals with the ermine familiar Chamo, who calls her "Big Sister" and doesn't mind his perversions.
Her first plot involving Negi was a Kissing Contest involving Fei Ku, Kaede,Fuka and Fumika, Mackie, Yue, Ayaka, and Nodoka; the object was to see who would get to kiss Negi first--each of the girls has a BIG crush on their young teacher--but Negi wanted to do something else and made a golem of himself and left with instructions, not knowing that the golems had kept multiplying into five.
Nodoka and her loyal friend Yue stood guard at the door while Nodoka leaned over the sleeping copy, speaking aloud what she wanted to do, and the five other copies heard her.
Golems have no will of their own, so they were compelled by any random suggestion.
1. Wanted to kiss a flattered Mackie. Kissed the vice principal by mistake
2. Asked an eagerly willing Sayak.
3. Asked Fei and Kaede restrained him if he tried to make a break for it. Kissed the Vice Principal
4. wanted to kiss Fumika--Fuka almost throttled her, asking why "Negi-Sensei" just wanted to kiss her twin.
and 5. Kissed the Vice Principal. Cornered Yue who stood gaurd over the shocked Nodoka.
Golems also have another function; to selfdestruct as soon as their task is complete.
It became a true goose chase, as one by one each of the candidates caught and kissed the copies--and suffered the explosions.
Oh, you want to know who got to kiss the REAL Negi? You'll just have to figure it out yourself.

Kazumi is part of Mahora Newspaper department. She's awfully noisy and is talented in making people speak and disgusting herself.She claims to have the thrid largest breast in the class.
