Yayoi is a classmate of Yuiko and Ritsuka.
He is introduced a bit later on,he is sickly and therefor didn't come to school.
He's at first seriously taken back when he hears how close Ritsuka has gotten to Yuiko,since he has already been in love with her for a long time.
Eventually he decides not to give up on Yuiko and asks if he can hang out with them and get to know Ritsuka better.
The three become pretty close friends and usually hang out together during school.

Yayoi is a classmate of Ritsuka and Yuiko. First time yayoi sees rituska he comments on how pretty Ritsuka is, and how he looks like a girl. He is jealous of Ritsuka because Yuiko likes Ritsuka and not him.
