Shindou-kun is the person this story revolves around!! He is rather childish and gets easily affected by his emotions. He is greatly in love with Yuki Eiri and will do anything so that Yuki won't leave him.
He is the main singer and composer of Bad Luck, but he can only compose when he isn't depressed about Yuki. XD

Shuuichi is the main character of this manga. He wants to be in a band. He meets Yuki Eiri, who he hates at first, but then he falls in love for. He also gets to meet his hero, Ryuuichi Sakuma. He finally gets to create a band called Bad Luck and achieves stardom.

Innocent, ambitious, and sexy, Shuichi wants to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Ryuichi Sakuma and be a great success in the Japanese pop music scene. However, after meeting mysterious novelist Eiri Yuki, Shuichi Shindou falls so hard for him that Eiri becomes his number one priority, which is a difficult situation because Eiri is reluctant about their relationship and keeps pushing Shuichi away. Meanwhile, Shuichi's band is climbing the charts and Shuichi's relationship with Eiri is getting in the way. Shuichi's energetic and childish personality tends to ruin serious scenes; a running gag throughout the series is his penchant for dressing up in strange costumes, including those of a dog, a battery, and a banana.

He is the protagonist in gravitation. He is childish, innocent and also very sweet. He really loves Yuki and cares for him. His best friend is Hiro. He can be a real idiot sometimes but that is his real self. He really idolizes Sakuma and dreams of being like him, even more popular! He really is a very interesting character in Gravitation.
