Misao is the youngest member of the Oniwa Banshu and it's most hot-headed. While on one of her many journeys looking for Aoshi and the rest of the Oniwa Banshu she ran into Kenshin who was on his way to Kyoto. Originally she tried to rob him to get money for the trip home, but soon saw that he didn't have much money so she ended up just following him just instead.

Misao makimachi is the youngest member of the Oniwabanshuu. Her attitude can be described as genki, cheerful and bouncy. She has a perverted grandfather called Okina but she calls him Jiiya instead. She has a crush on her beloved Aoshi-sama. She detests her shortness and has somehow gotten her nickname 'itachi no musume' (meaning weasel girl).
