Info: Sano---a "STREET FIGHTER". He is extremely strong. Sano is one of the only 2 survivors of the Sekihoutai(Red Report Group). The whole group was framed as the false army (for spreading false pledge of decreasing the tax for the farmers who support the Meiji), and was totally executed. From then on, Sano detests the cowardice of the Ishin-shishi, or even the current Meiji government. After fighting with Kenshin, he becomes a member of the 'kenshin group'.

Sanosuke used to be known as Zanza, mainly because of the HUGE sword he carried on his back. he wears a 'shirt' with the word AKU(meaning bad) on it. he is a street fighter and uses his fists to fight. he constantly has a fishbone in his mouth (which he chews for like, forever?) and enjoys gambling (though he VERY seldom wins). he ties his spiky hair with a red badanna. he detests doing housework as he claims that it is girly and is a complete freeloader at kaoru's dojo. he too, like yahiko, complains about kaoru's bad cooking. he hangs around kenshin as he does the housework and likes talking to him. he also calls kaoru jou-chan (meaning little missy). he constantly flirts around with megumi, (though she is very obviously flirting away with kenshin, making kaoru jealous and kenshin 'oro'). so... we could presume/ just say that he is part of the kenshin-gumi!

Formaly know as Zansa the fighter for hire. He got his nick name after the big sanbato he carries(humongos sword about 7 foot tall). He was one of the survivors after his group the sakihotai was killed by the meji government. He was hire to fight Kenshin Himura, The batosai. He lost to him and his sanbato was cut in half, but a strange twist of fate made them friends. Later on they fight again because Sano was helping his old comrade from the sakihotai, Katsu to try to destroy the meji goverment. He went head to head against kenshin free handed and lost to him again. Then he learn the futae no kiwami technic from Anji the destroyer when he was heading to Kioto to help kenshin to fight Makoto Shi-shio.
