Al and Ed childhood friend, beautiful, childish and always cheer up Ed, although in the end how do i suppose to say this well Ed leave her behind even in the movie (sigh! poor girl!)

Winry (or Winly, according to translation) is Ed's mechanic. She has long blond hair usally under a pink headscarf, lilac cargo pants and a teeny-tingy black tube-top (when working) and a little black skirt and white shirt with a black jacket (when out). She grew up in Rizenbul (sp?) Village as a good friend to both Ed and Al. Winry is completely obsessed with machinery and is rarely seen without her beloved wrench, which is not only a tool but a vicious weapon. Winry is also known for her violent temper, when provoked she will cause those around her serious head-pain via wrench, which is one of the happy goodnesses of her mechanical obsession. Her hobbies include working on machinery, hitting people and calling Ed short.
