(SPOILERS) Envy is one of the seven homunculus in the series Fullmetal Alchemist. People usually confused if he is a guy or a girl, but Envy is in fact, a male.
Why?
Envy was the son of Dante and Hoenheim, and died of mercury poisoning when he was 18. This makes him the half-brother of Edward and Alphonse. Despite the family relation, Envy hates the two because they got what he wanted.
Envy came back as a homunculus when Hoenheim recreated him and abandoned the newly made homunculus. Envy was the first created human made. His power is to shape shift into anything he wants. The form he mostly is in is that of a 18-year-old boy with long, green hair and violet eyes. Envy wears a black mid-drift top, a black skort, along with a headband, wrist bands, and black sock-like cloths around his feet that go to his ankles and leave his toes and heels bare.
Envy is the last homunculus to die, and his death is in the movie: Conquerer of Shambala.

Envy is a part of the homonculous groups named after the seven deadly sins. If life he was the son of Honenhiem, Edward and Alphonse's father, making Envy their half-brother. He has the ability to change into any form he wishes, his common form is a fabricated one. In reality he holds a striking resemblance to Honenhiem of Light. He has an obsession with killing the Elric brothers because he loathes his father and wants to destory anything related to him in anyway. His goal is to get back at Honenhiem for attempting to resurect him and leaving him in the loathsome state of Homunculous.
