An energetic sentient "Aaron Staff" named Kanaka, whose goal is to "Become a human".
Kanaka, like all other Staves, have a negative impression on humankind, due to their underworld-ly job nature, they have seen much of the ugly sides of humans, and are perplexed as to why some humans make stupid decisions regarding their lives.
Aaron Staves do not "serve a master", instead, they form "temporary" partnerships with a postman, whomsoever chooses their company. It is possible for the postman to change partnerships, should there be a reason to (and any reason is fine).
Aaron Staves are also the only link to a postman's supernatural abilities, called "Codes". Codes are 4-digit numeric commands given by their postmen-half, the staves then execute the magical instruction from the command. Effects of Codes range from conferring Invisibility, invocation of Teleportation and the manifestation of Barriers.
Personality-wise, Kanaka is easy-going and sentimental, she is also somewhat sloppy and lazy. Kanaka has a fairly amiable relationship with Matoma and his partner, introducing the other Staff (Matoma), as Tomato.
Kanaka loves her partner (Mikawa Fumika) very much, and is very loyal to her.
