Chiyo is the cute ten-year-old genius who skipped all the way to high school.She may be young but she is very thoughtful and helpful to her fellow students.She's also a great cook.She isn't the kind to flaunt her talents.Chiyo is actually a very modest girl.She has had at least one moment when she missed her days of being a kid.She is a realistic,down-to-earth and understanding girl who will always have her friends no matter how far apart they are.

Chiyo-chan, as she is known by her classmates, is arguably the main character of the series. She is always cheerful and bright, and is very intelligent. During the course of the series, Sakaki's jealousy and admiration of her is revealed, Chiyo is traumatized several times by her teacher, and she grows to be a better, more adult person, as her change of hairstyle hints at. She also reveals a wish to be treated as a normal high school student, rather than the 'cute little girl' people tend to see her as.

Chiyo-chan, as she is called by her friends, is a 10 year old child prodigy. She is smart enough to be moved up to 9th grade, and only gets smarter. People often confuse her for a primary school student, but she doesn't mind. Her friends respect her, even though they tend to mess around with her. She cannot swim, play basketball, or do much anything in P.E. class, except for beat Ayumu.

Mihama Chiyo is a 10 year old genius girl who skipped grades from elementary school to high school. As a 10 year old in high school, everyone thinks she is very cute and talented. she has straight A's in all her classes, exept P.E. She is very cute and when she gets into trouble, her cuteness saves her and the teachers spare her.
