Kagura appears in the begining of the 2

Next to Sakaki,Kagura is the athletic one in the gang.However she has more of a competitive edge than Sakaki.Kagura considers her and Sakaki "rivals" which unlike Sakaki she takes a bit too seriously.She is also on the swim team which is how she gets so tan.She was switched into Class 3 for junior year which is how she became good friends with everyone.Kagura is not the greatest student but she has high determination.

Kagura is on the swim team at school. She's an all around awesome athlete. Kagura joined Yukari's class in the second year. Her best friends in the group are Tomo and Sakaki.

Kagura is always looking for a challenge, be it competing with Sakaki for the crown of Athletics, or with Tomo for the wooden spoon in academia. This makes for an interesting combination in itself, but add the fact that she seem to take a very personal interest in Sakaki's cat problem (going in the wrong direction, according to Sakaki), and she gets cat-apulted into the limelight as a very straightforward, honest, and loyal friend.
PS: I expect the death threats to come flooding in for the cat pun.
