Yukari is the gangs' crazy and hot-tempered homeroom and English teacher.Although she may not set a good example for her students,she takes her career as a teacher seriously.She has a jealously thing going on with her high school friend Minamo who's the gym teacher.Sometimes she cannot stand her job and takes out her anger on her students.In the end,Yukari adores her students and believes in them.

Yukari is probably the weirdest teacher you would ever meet. Prefering to gossip over teaching, Yukari is more of a child than she actually appears. She teaches English and appears to have taught Spanish in the first volume.
Yukari is a very heavy drinker and gambler, leaving problems for her and her reluctant friend, Nyamo. Yukari is a very humorous character in the Azumanga Daioh anime, always giving a good laugh when needed.

Yukari really hasn't grown up from when she was a high-school student. She gets angry and bored easily and loves drinking. She often hangs out and fights with Minamo Kurosawa.

Yukari is quite possibly the last person in the world, (Apart from Kimura-Sensei of course) who should be teaching at school. Her competitive nature (mostly with her childhood friend Minamo Kurosawa) leads to a lot abuse (verbal and otherwise) toward her students.
And everyone else.
Ahem.
But, putting those foibles aside, she is a rather charming person to be around. Just don't lend her any money.

Yukari is an english teacher for class 3. She was friends with Kurosawa Minamo, a P.E. teacher but now is jealous of her because she has better things than her ( eg: her dented car against Minamo-sensei's shiny blue car, and its not even Yukari's car its her parents! ) and now holds constant competitions against Minamo
