Miyabi is and has always been Aoi's protector/caretaker/manager of the Sakaruba Inn and possibly the oldest character since there isn't any exact age for her. Unlike most women in harem comedies, she doesn't wear clothing that exposes her shoulders or knees very much or at all and is very strict towards everyone except her percious Aoi since she seems to see taking care of her as her only reason for living and allows Aoi and Kaoru to be a couple but only by secret as to not upset Tina and Taeko who she seems to be able to tell have feelings for him equal to her chargins' and on some level cares for Kaoru herself since she isn't above holding onto his shoulder if she's scared or nervous if he's around. Uzame, Tina's pet ferret, seemed to bring back memories of her own past, or seemed to bring back something very personal for her when he first popped up and prefered to ignore the little guy until he got stuck behind the Grandfather clock and was able to help get him out. Although strict and demanding, she will allow herself some fun every now and then.
She can also be very competiative.

Miyabi Kagurazaki, the care taker of Aoi assigned the job by Aoi's family. She isn't the type that disobey's orders and the very hard working type. She doesn't disobey Aoi's parents and listens to their orders over Aoi but she really cares for Aoi and in the end decides to help Aoi over her parents because she has never seen Aoi so happy until she found Kaoru and became his fiance. She has never seen such a big smile on Aoi's face until she started living with Kaoru, at first she thinks of Kaoru as a pervert or a rapist (something like that after the shower scene) but learns to accept him because he is a nice caring man who makes Aoi happier than she ever was.

Miyabi is Aoi's caretaker. She knows Aoi very well, and that Aoi has loved Kaoru ever since she was a little girl. Miyabi takes care of Aoi and watches Aoi and Kaoru. She seems to be a little bit cold, but she really has a good heart.

Aoi-chan's guardian. She's often very strict, but is by no means cold-hearted. She cares a lot for Aoi. She also works for the Sakuraba company (which Aoi's parents own). Drives a nice BMW.
