Chika is Taeko's tanned younger cousin who'd been living with their grandmother at her beachhouse. She's curious, adventeurous and in the manga on her first night as an offical resident of the inn teases Kaoru for seeing her in a towel. Chika is also very affectionate and loving of all her friends and refers to Kaoru as "Big Brother" and when he returns starts slipping into his futon so she can be close to him. Whenever she annoys Tina, the blonde takes it out on her by groping her as a form of punishment.
This sweet little girl really like Tina and sees her as a form of entertainment and keeps life from being boring. She also makes dolls of people she likes.
(In the manga she teases Kaoru by saying she's attracted to him, but in the anime, thinks of him as a brother. Also due to some freak accidents, one involving Taeko's clumsiness, Kaoru has seen her naked and after she got over it, she decided that if her cuzz couldn't get with Kaoru, she'd take him for herself.)

Chika is a cousin of Taeko. She is a bright, active junior high school student.

She's related to Taeko, though i think she and Taeko are cousins (Chika says she's an only child). She's a natural at doing all sorts of work like cleaning and laundry, and she's good at Tina's video games too. She tries to get Taeko to be more aggressive about her romantic desires.

She is the sister of Taeko and lives with their grandmother by the sea. When the gang goes for a visit, you can automatically tell that she is very energetic. She tries to get Taeko and Kaoru together when she notices her watching him. This often gets her and Taeko, along with Kaoru in some embarrasing situations. Still, she is just trying to watch out for her younger sister, and comes to live with the others when she enters high school. She starts to like him as a big brother. On a side note, Kaoru sees her naked a total of three times in the series (once in the special).
