D was favorite character of the series. She came to the parallel world in an alien artifact found many years ago. Shes a bio type where her mind and soul find its home in her eye while her mind regains strength. Her real body remains seperatly preserved as it is too fragile for her new world. In the begining she has no free will, she just does as shes told, no more no less, while trying to regain her mind and soul to a proper state. Her state in the beggining of the series can be compared to someone who has had a severe stroke. She never shows emotion of feelings towards anyone until Kazuki finds his way to the parallel world. She immediatly acknowledges him and takes a liking to him. Towards the middle of the series her feelings towards Kazuki grow and her mind becomes stronger but she still doesn't know what what these strange feelings are, although she is starting to become very attached to Kazuki.
**SPOLIERS??**
The last few episodes help D fully understand what these feelings are, and she regains her mind and strength fully. She finds that these feelings are love for Kazuki and that her love towards him are what can end the war as well as the phenominon that is merging the two worlds. D gives her life to save Kazuki and in return, she is returned to her real body, where she explains everything about what happened to her and how her and Kazuki can put an end to it all.
**EXPLINATIONS**
D's real body is located inside Jinmu, this is why when the Commander suggests destroying the artifact, she says "but the artifact.. is my..." and runs out.
Technology is what was supposedly keeping D alive, by keeping and helping regenerate her mind in her biotype body, and is what was helping her realy body survive in the harsh world. Although, she finds out that her real body is able to survive when she gives up technology for her love for Kazuki.

To me, D is the most coolest characters in all of Dual! I mean, what is so freakishly neat about having one eye and the other being a what must be your soul? Everything! For some reason, her discovered body has a little bit of feeling in it, and strangely enough, D has a feeling that she cannot explain for Kazuki (its love of course, be hey, she just revived so you can't blame her). Even though she is basically a robot that had been found (I think to the moon is where Commander Sanada found her) on the moon, she developes feelings and challenges as if she was a regular young girl.

D is a mystireous girl that doesn't talk much. Apparently she has something to do with the Relic, for on the Relic ship in the episode after Kazuki returns to the alternate dimension, the team talks about destroying the Relic to restore balance to the dimensions. D steals the Relic and locks herself in a closet muttering "The Relic is my..." I have not been able to assimilate what she has to do with the Relic, though.
