Kannagi Ren

Ren Kannagi is the younger brother of Kazuma and Ayano. Although, I believe he isn't directly blood related to Ayano since Ayano calls Kazumi her cousin. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Ren first seems weak and very dependant upon his brother, Kazuma, but he slowly develops into a more independant person as the series progresses.

Like virtually all Kannagi family members, Ren is a gifted Enjutsushi. (Fire Elementalist) They have the ability to manipulate fire and are experts at Youma (Demon?) slaying; especially since they can purify Youmas that possess others with their purifying flames. Ren appears to be very skilled with purifying flames although he doesn't seem to possess much raw power.
