Summary:
It all starts out with a 12 year old boy named Naota. He's walking home with his older brother's girlfriend, Mamimi. Suddenly he gets attacked by Haruko... a 19 year-old (her age as we know it now, changes later) girl with a badass Vespa and a awesome bass guitar. This all happens in the town of Mabase, dominated by a the Medical Machine factory.
The very next day he finds that the same girl that bowled him has been hired as housekeeper by his father!

Summary:
Eri is one of Naota's schoolmates. Her father (the mayor) has been accused of having an affair with the secretary. Eri has also put Naota unwillingly into the lead roll of the school play. Naota has even weirder shapes coming out of his head!

Now it's starting to get weird. Haruko has joined the opposition's baseball team, and is getting along a little too well with Kamon. Naota doesn't have any strange bulges on his head. However he does have some sort of beacon in there, that the Department of Interstellar Immigration are tracking.
The really WEIRD bit is coming now. Haruko has joined Naota's opposition baseball team and is getting along a little too well with Kamon. Naota's head protrusions have stopped but he's got some sort of red flashing beacon in his head. The Department of Interstellar Immigration are tracking it.
