Summary:
In the beginning of the series, a lone gunman is being hunted down buy a bounty hunter gang. The leader of the gang wields a huge metal boomerang. Else where, insurance agents Meryl Stryfe & Milly Thompson are deployed to track down Vash the Stampede and monitor him 24/7 to prevent further damages. In another town, a strange bounty hunter is also tracking Vash. Soon, all of these characters converge and the bounty hunters confuse each other as the "real" Vash the Stampede. After the huge brawl, the lone gunman clumsily but surely triumphs over the gang and the bounty hunter. However, in the process, the nearby town is destroyed. Meryl quickly dismisses the possibility that the lone gunman could be Vash the Stampede because of his display of cowardice and goofiness.
