The story of early days of Lupin, his friends and enemies
Lupin started as a thief and he's aiming for "Cram of Hermes" owned by Galvez, a mafia boss. "Cram of Hermes" is a book of alchemy, which contains a special recipe for making metal harder than diamond. Unfortunately, the book is sealed inside a metal pipe made from that recipe. So, the pipe can never be opened without a special key.
Galvez then hires Jigen as a bodyguard to protect the metal pipe and the book. Meanwhile, Goemon is searching for the strongest sword in the world and Fujiko is working in the shadow waiting to take away both of the pipe and the book. At the same time, a Japanese detective, Zenigata, arrives in New York to capture Fujiko.
Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, Fujiko and Zenigata.. They are all here for the first time as adversaries and eternal enemies.
