| | In the year of Tempo 14, Yoi, or the monsters from another world attack Edo. Those who fight against them are members of Bansha Aratemesho. In public, Bansha Aratemsho is known as an organization to study foreign books. In fact, they are ordered to beat Yoi in the countries. They are called Ayakashi. They gatherer the information of strange events in the country, and they are dispathed there to beat Yoi. They are strange people, for example, a guy who lost his memory, a girl who dresses like a man. However, they have special powers to beat Yoi.
