| | In a post-nuclear holocaust world, Kyosuke Date is a kind-hearted boy who is a mutant with the ability to transform into an extremely powerful being called Soul Taker. He sets out on a journey to search for his twin sister, Runa, and is also attempting to find out why his mother committed suicide.
