| On the continent of Polyphonica, people and spirits live together. Dantists are humans able to play special music by which spirits are able to release their powers.
On a moonlit night, a spirit of unparalleled power and a lonely human boy met on the roof of an orphanage. His name was Tatara Phoron. She, Corticarte Ap Lagranges. Corticarte expressed her desire to form a contract with Phoron, but is interrupted and forced to leave. Although their meeting was short, a bond was indeed forged between them, and Phoron would never forget the events of that night.
Years pass, and the teenaged Phoron is now studying in school for prospective Dantists. Once more, he will be given the opportunity to meet Corticarte.
