| In the future world robots are already used in every day life. People are getting absorbed in a new kind a sport where battle robots (BATOROBO) fights each other in a BATOROBO match.
Akira is a KOMANDA, a person who commands BATOROBO. His goal is to become a champion in BOTOROBO match. To enter BOTOROBO tournament, he has to fight a couple BOTOROBO and gain his license. And also you need four BOTOROBO, but he has only three. His grandfather, a BOTORBO specialist, persuade the officials to let him in.
Because of having only three BOTOROBO, he is getting beaten up in a match. At the critical moment, RYUGU brought a dragon type BATOROBO gander... and it's called Daigander (DAIGANDA)
